Great quality as usual from Primitive. Prices, however, have gone up considerably on the last few months and I was shocked at how much more it was than just a few months ago. Delivery was slower than previous orders I’ve had, but the fact is this is a great poncho, light but warm and perfect for cooler summer nights.

Item material quality is great, took a very long time to ship but only because of Covid reasons, I was however disappointed in item dimensions, item is way smaller than the poncho in the picture, very short in comparison. No completely dissatisfied but not happy.

Overall it's a beautiful piece of poncho. It looks fantastic, the hood is great and the color is ok. When put on the body it falls naturally, perfectly. But the material is very itchy wool and it is a big drawback (cons) for the amount of money spent. Conclusion - due to poor material, this is too expensive a piece of clothing.

Most of our fabrics are pre-washed, so any shrinkage is small, but natural fibres can still shrink a little. To keep the fit, wash cold, skip the tumble dryer and let it air dry.

Often, yes. Send us a message with the piece and what you need, and we will let you know what is possible.

What fabrics do you use?

Our pieces are handwoven from natural fibres, such as organic cotton, khadi, wild hemp, Himalayan nettle, raw silk and wool, and coloured with natural and low-impact dyes.

How do I care for it?

Why might it look slightly different from the photos?

Because every item is handwoven and naturally dyed, small variations in colour, weave and texture are completely normal. They are the signature of a genuinely handmade piece, not a flaw.

Who makes your pieces?

Our pieces come from artisan families and small workshops, made in small batches. Buying from them helps support traditional crafts and the skills behind them.

How much is shipping and when will it arrive?

Shipping is a flat $15 worldwide, and free on orders over $199. We ship within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery is usually 2 to 5 business days in the US and 7 to 21 business days internationally, though customs can add a little time.

Can I return or exchange it?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return unworn, unwashed items with their tags for a refund, minus the original shipping, or for store credit. Return shipping is covered by the customer. Just reach out and we will help you sort it out.
